Hello everybody! I have offically made it through 1 whole month of Musings by Tee and that means I am nearly 1/3 of the way through my 100 day posting challenge! Yay!! It’s amazing how much more comfortable I am with writing and posting now than I was making my first posts a month ago.
So in honor of this momentous occasion, I thought I’d share three things I’ve learnt over this time.
1) Blogging is actually an amazing community full of really cool people with different & interesting ideas brought together by one common interest – blogging. Prior to starting Musings by Tee, I had absolutely no idea this sort of community existed, which is such a shame because I love being part of it. Although it denfinetly is quite addictive… 😬
2) Technical difficulties suck! When you’re on a deadline to get a post out every single day & you see those precious hours ticking away due to technical difficulties, that’s pretty stressful! No matter how many times you try to resolve certain difficulties, sometimes you have to throw the towel in and try something completely new! While this is inconvenient & to be honest, pretty stressful and nerve racking at times, it has over all a great chance for me to learn new skills and brush up on my problem solving.
3) Blogging is a lot easier and a lot harder than I originally thought. That might sound like a contradiction but hear me out. Initially when I started the blog, I was terrified. I had no idea what to say or how to say it. I simply was on a mission but going in blind and overwhelmed. As the days started to pass and the number of posts started to grow, I realised how much I actually love this and what a big part of my routine it has become. What I didn’t except was how hard it is to produce quality content day in and day out. All the drafts, proof reading and publishing to make a quality post is definelty something I’m still learning and working on. I’m super thankful tho, I am able to read other people’s blogs and see the different writing styles, blog layouts etc to help fill the void.
All in all, this has been an amazing month and I’m really excited to see where God takes this over the coming months. Also a big thank you to everyone who reads my posts and gives feedback, it is such an encouragement! You guys are awesome!!
