What a solid truth to build our lives on! In times when I am overwhelmed and struggling with life, I am more thankful than ever for truths like this. Not only will the Lord carry our burdens if we cast them on Him but He also promises to sustain us. When you’re done, down and out, these are words of great comfort. The promise in itself is so encouraging, it’s begins that sustaining work. Even when we can’t keep ourselves going, He can and will if we let Him.
