Psalm 23. The classic children’s psalm. What a beautiful picture this psalm shows us of a life lived for God. It builds this picture of what living for God really means, finding peace, contentment, safety and abundance. Then it finishes off with verse, what a promise. That mercy and goodness would follow us every day, that we would dwell with the Lord forever. I love that idea, in fact, that is my prayer, that I would dwell with God forever. That everyday would be solely focused on Him and like this psalm so beautifully portrays, have no fear or qualms for the future.
