There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

What are you fearing? With all the upheaval in the world it is very easy to find things to be afraid of. But the promise of God is that we don’t have to be afraid – His love overcomes our fear.
So why does the happen? Because, when we are truely filled with the love of God, we can rest in the fact that Jesus has all things under His control. We begin to understand the might and power of God but not in a distant sense, but in a personal, He loves me kinda sense. When you realise how much He loves you and how powerful He is (both unfathomable) it fills you with the greatest sense of peace because nothing can happen to you outside of His good plans and purposes.
