Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

What a thing to live for! To come to God unashamed of how we have handled the word of truth – or in other words, the gospel of our salvation. Are we handling the gospel, that glorious truth we have been given well? Are we honouring it? Are we sharing it? Are we living in a way that points towards it? These are really important questions to be asking ourselves regularly, we want to be approved by God. Our lifes goal should be to live for Him and bring Him glory and honour, what’s more important than knowing we are doing that in a God pleasing manner.
