I’m back! Musings from the last 12 months. (and wedding photos)

Welcome back! After a rather long hiatus, I’m finally back, God willing.

Wow! What a year its been! Last year during lockdown I felt called to start a blog, this blog in fact, as a way to connect and fellowship with people during such an uncertain and trying time. Part of connection is regular interaction so I set myself a goal of posting everyday for 100 days! Was it crazy? Yes! Was it amazing? YES! Was it completely unsustainable? Also yes! Once my wedding started to roll around, something had to give, and it wasn’t the wedding so for the sake of myself and everyone around me I had to take a break.

So this time around I am trying a different tactic, quality over quantity. My goal is to post 1-2 times per week mainly focusing on life, or a theme or book of the bible. I’m so excited! It’s been something I’ve been desperate to get back into but just haven’t the opportunity, so here we go!

So, what have I been up to that’s made blogging impossible. Well, lets just say its been a crazy, chaotic season! I’ve gotten married, bought a house, begun renovating said house, quit my job, started a business, attempting to set up / live in a mostly guttered house all while navigating a mysterious but debilitating illness and pandemic. Phew! To be honest, its only been God’s grace that we are getting through this season the way that we are and I am so thankful!
