Who’s Glory?

John 12:42-43

Who’s glory do we seek? Really we only have two options; the glory of God or the glory of man. How often does the glory of man keep us from what we k njow is true, or what we should do? It is so easy to believe in secret when believing causes public shame or has consequences. How often do we choose mans glory – popularity, money, power, fame over the glory of God? How often do we choose man’s temporary reward over God’s eternal reward? It’s sobering to think how many times our decisions and words are impacted by this, even subtly. We must let God open our spiritual eyes and hearts to see things as they really are. Then just trust.

Choose the God glorifying option, and you may be surprised of the consequences, both now and in eternity.
